Welcome to the 2020 school year! To those of you who are new, we hope that you will soon feel at home and part of the Fleming family.
The holiday period appears to have been busy for many of us and the reports I have heard suggest that most of us, whether we managed to get away or not, enjoyed an amazing break!
The world we are living in right now is fiercely volatile. 2019 was for many a roller coaster ride where the only consistency seems to have been inconsistency. It is a priority for us at Fleming to maintain a dependable, safe environment for our children to grow and develop. As communicative and involved parents you can help us to achieve this.
We welcome Danielle Tyrrell as teacher of the Sunbeams Group and Ashlea Todd as teacher in Orange Group. We hope that they will be very happy at Fleming and soon feel part of the furniture.
As most of you are aware, Nikki Gordon (previously Orange Group teacher) has moved to Yellow Group and Nancy Turner has moved to Red Group. We are all excited to take on the new changes and challengesof 2020 and look forward to what the new year has in store!

The club is aimed at the children playing, socialising, having good fun and being well looked after. This takes the place of aftercare and will be available on a casual basis too. On a full- time basis however it will include lunch and an extra mural. Please see flyer for more information.
As it is the start of the year, it is good to establish protocol around the use of WhatsApp groups.
The guidelines are as follows:
The teacher will set up a WhatsApp group and the class mum and the teacher will be the only admin.
The group is intended to get messages and important information across to the class quickly and efficiently.
Should you have a query relating to your child or the school, please feel free to contact the teacher via the office during school hours. If it is an emergency, the class mum will at her discretion, give out either Pam’s or Amanda’s cell number. A separate group may of course be set up to facilitate the organisation of social events, birthday parties etc. This group will not include the teacher.
